These A3 sized single-leaf sheets, each folded to give space for one A3 sized comic and three A5 pages, treat in a few brilliant panels complex topics like suicide and other ways to die; eating disorder and other human insecurities; sexual crimes and other youth traumas; and being mentally elsewhere. Some are more intent on capturing a mood than telling a story; but all have something to convey.

John Robbins has in the past worked for the American comics publishers Caliber and Dark Horse. The panel lay-out of the pages and the crisp black-and-white artwork evoke an energy which only a few great names like Frank Miller can bring onto the page; the text is equally crisp: "One tree in particular became the focus of his study - a rotting spruce, in whose mangled branches Robert once glimpsed the expression of a hanged girl.". The stories beg to be re-read and combed through.

These leaflits are comics with a difference! One of the best coins you could ever hope to spend.
